Attention & intention
I make the mistake to often think that what is true for me, must be true for others too. However, for many people there is an inner split: attention is not equal to intention.
I realize now that for me attention and intention somehow coincide: as if intention were "the quality of my attention", and attention were "the quality of my action".
They say "to photograph is to put on the same line of sight the mind, the eye and the heart", exactly like in archery. Now, for me this isn't true just for a single discipline: it's true every time I (find the courage to) follow what's alive in me. Then I happen, spontaneously as an arrow would shoot itself at the point of maximum tension of the bow's string.

---The right art," cried the Master, "is purposeless, aimless! The more obstinately you try to learn how to shoot the arrow for the sake of hitting the goal, the less you will succeed in the one and the further the other will recede. What stands in your way is that you have a much too willful will. You think that what you do not do yourself does not happen.

Full vulnerability
<<The vulnerability you've shown to the other is somehow - I know it's almost absurd - the protective shield of a great inner strength. Your vulnerability is what is seen outside, but inside you have a great strength, for all the things you just said: philosophy, work on the self, martial art wisdom... Those are your strong roots.
Yes the vulnerability is your "emotional state"of that particular moment, but now I don't find vulnerability in you anymore, except for this: is your fully availability to be exposed, also at risk to be hit.
I don't hear vulnerability while I listen to you now, but I hear your wound. Your rich inner world sometimes struggles in common life, and when you take the risk to expose it, behind the few words you say there is a whole world of meanings, which then can be annihilated and mutilated in a two lines reply...like happened to you yesterday>>

Stop hiding
"Everyone has three layers:
the one we show,
the one we hide,
and our essential truth. I wanna you go there.
The pathway is stop hiding.
Because even if what you hide is a distortion of your essential self..this is the entryway."
Miki Kashtan, tonight. This woman is not changing me. She is unrevealing me, and expanding my capacity to sustain it, not alone but in togetherness.
